Kickers and UMA kick into gear

Urban Music Awards have partnered up with Kickers for their fifth anniversary to bring the 2007 Kickers Urban Music Awards. UMA is the only awards show where all the winners are voted for 100% by the public. And in staying with that tradition, they are giving the public the deciding vote on the fates of twenty unsigned bands. They all want the opportunity to stand up and say ‘I have arrived’. All of them will have to perform their arses off if they want to be the ones to perform during the UMAs. We’re talking pulse-racing, hand pumping, earth-trembling performances that will have the audience throwing their pants on-stage.

Everyone can go to the Kickers website (www.kickersuma.co.uk) to hear the demos from all twenty acts and vote for the winner. The winner will be announced 3^rd November at the Kickers Urban Music Awards in Covent Garden, London. They’ll be broadcasting to an international audience of over fifteen million. We’ve got stage fright just thinking about it.
