The Bridge
This smart London–type venue called The Bridge attracts proper club goers like pigeons to a discarded hula hoop. The place to be seen shaking it about in; you'll love the lack of sticky floors, but you may not feel the same about the poncey students cracking open the bubbly. Luckily they tend to congregate in the new VIP lounge bar pretending like they're important or something, but everybody knows Oxford is scarily devoid of proper celebs so it's just full of regular people who think they're being all exclusive by standing on a different bit of floor to everyone else. Losers. Hosting various popular nights including glam disco fest 'Flare' on Mondays and 'Hustle' on Wednesdays – D'n'B and hip hop –, The Beidge can get pretty packed out with revelers. You may want to drink up before you join the party though –the drinks aren't cheap.
