Thirst
Watching the Thirst bar staff do their cocktail making thang is entertainment in itself – they practically juggle the glasses. But my cocktail shaking heart belongs firmly to Tom Cruise, and besides, as much as alcoholic acrobatics are fun, they don't half drag out of the process of getting a blinkin' drink. The boxes for seats are uncomfortable, the music is headache–inducing and anyone dancing in there manages to look awkward, but maybe they're just trying to dodge the flying cocktail equipment. Maybe I'm missing something because Thirst is very popular around Oxford. The fact that they have a 'stupid hour' as well as a happy hour probably helps. Click here to buy itchyOxford, the UK's best–selling guide to what's on in Oxford, including hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars, and shopping.
