Fishers
Never judge a book by its cover and never judge a restaurant by its porthole windows and tacky, nautical themed interior. Fishers looks tacky but is truly excellent, the steamed mussels are famed for being the finest in Oxford. Also on offer is just about everything from your humble fish and chips to swordfish and sea bass, and they kindly even have duck on the menu, presumably to cater for those who hadn't worked out it's a fish restaurant. Much recommended, though the live goldfish in a bowl is a tiny off-putting.
