Oxford Brookes Union

Oxford Brookes Union is described by several locals as the only place in Oxford for a 'proper' night out, by which I think they mean it's the most similar to clubs in distant metropolises like Manchester. 'Pleasuredome' on Friday nights is extremely popular, if you can handle the inevitable queues and the fact that it's usually something of a meat market. Full of students as you'd expect – good for some, living hell for others – and worth the trek out of town of a raucous night of dancing.
