Green is a veritable mecca in Oxford for the self-styled student 'in-crowd', fortunately most of whom are so loaded with cash that the pricey cocktails and slow service don't appear to bother them. With its three floors, from the dungeon-like dance floor in the basement to the sycophantic VIP room at the top, Green fares best when it is packed to the gills, meaning also that you can't see the slightly dingy décor for bodies.
