Mitre
Mitre is not as grand as its name or exterior appearance suggests, kind of like the way you think of Posh Spice as just one step away from royalty, but then realise, on the inside, she's really just as common as a dustman's daughter. Mitre may have a convenient location in Oxford but it lacks the character of other well-situated pubs. It's spacious and quiet so your gran might approve, but the grub is uninspiring.
