Covered Market should be included in any tour of Oxford — forget the mediocre chain stores peddling the same old generic tat that you can find in virtually every other town. The Covered Market offers quirky gift, food and clothes shops, as well as a plethora of stops for a coffee break. Shame it's just a bit smelly.
