Sometimes we all forget that nightclubs are actually places to go to and listen to good music, as opposed to just dens of iniquity in which to pour alcopops down our gullets, dance like twats, and grab the nearest half decent piece of totty to go home with. Alternative pit of cool The Cellar teaches all about good music like our favourite teacher at school, kicking the cheese contingent firmly to the kerb. You'll find some of the best live acts in Oxford showing the masses their stuff in here and the club's 'Sunday Roast' is a highlight of the week, when student DJs do their thing, and you can even eat toasties and read the papers whilst checking out their talent. Now that's more like it.
