Halcyon Bar

The Halcyon divides opinion more strongly than a toasted marmite sandwich. Some call it a super-sexy house of fun, while others refer to it as a has-been bar populated with mindless louts and Paris Hilton-wannabes. Clientele aside, this bar offers some pretty decent shots and cocktails, as long as you're willing to pay through the nose, and their specialist club nights and live bands are worth checking out. Love it or hate it, this place can genuinely claim to be the Marmite of Sheffield Bars - a tonic to those that love it, and bitter poison to anyone else. We're just waiting to see if they put it in a squeezy bottle.
