The Cavendish

Now this is the king of the mediocre bar scene. As part of the 'Scream' chain, it offers relatively cheap drinks in a nice setting with the usual things you'd expect to find in your local bar; a couple of pool tables, a fruit machine and plenty of big leather sofas. There's nothing particularly bad about the Cavendish (except the queues at the bar on a Saturday night, but again, that's to be expected), just there's nothing particularly special about it either.
