The Cavendish

The king of the mediocre bar scene; if this place was a band, it'd be Snow Patrol. As part of the 'Scream' chain, it offers relatively cheap drinks in a nice setting with the usual things you'd expect to find in your local bar; a couple of pool tables, a fruit machine and plenty of big leather sofas. There's nothing particularly bad about the Cavendish (except the queues at the bar on a Saturday night, but again, that's to be expected when they sell booze at these prices), there's just nothing particularly special about it either. Unless you're reading this in there when they play a Snow Patrol song...
