The Old Monk

During the day you'll be surrounded by a crowd of suited wannabes, all trying to impress their bosses, all being palmed off with crap real ale and accepting it, because they know no better. Come evening time the Old Monk changes; the ale is still a bit crap, but students fill the bar area, enjoying the food and drink offers, such as 2 meals for £6.95 and on occasion the £1 drink specials. You'll smile, you'll laugh, you'll fall off your stool from all the cheap drinks and have a banging head the next morning. But hey – that's what it's all about isn't it?
