The return of Graham 'turnip' Taylor to Villa Park has so far seen little to suggest that he can make Villa the genuine championship contenders as he did in his first spell. In fact, old turnip head seems oblivious to all the changes in top–flight football continuing with his distinctive long ball style of play which is so outdated in the modern game. Player unrest, low attendances and calls for Taylor to resign have already blighted this season, and that's before we mention the 3–0 drubbing received from the Blues. It could be a long season for the Villa faithful...
