Harborne Stores The

On a Thursday night you have to river dance your way into this friendly little pub situated midway along the Harborne run –such is the second–generation Irish vibe oozing out of it. Yet, if you can pull off a good enough Michael Flatley impression to get into the ambience created by the 'Sweet Molly Malone' crew, it's much more atmospheric than hanging out at the plastic pseudo Irishness of O'Neill's. Don't expect to be able to check yourself out in the toilet mirrors, as after taking one look at the clientele, the landlord obviously decided dirty mirrors were better than cracked ones.
