Tamworth Snowdome

Think of an activity you could do on snow or ice and chances are it's on offer here. Assuming it's legal, that is. Skiing, snowboarding, snowblading, tubing, snowmobiling, snowman making, shouting abuse at Santa Claus...you get the idea. There's always some kind of discount scheme going on and some excellent deals for students. Okay, so it's not the biggest (although the slope is a satisfactory 170 metres long), but Tamworth Snowdome was the first real-snow indoor ski slope in Western Europe - so stick that in your pipe and smoke it during your aprés-ski.
