Star City – the weird and wonderful world of entertainment that never sleeps. With its collection of restaurants, bowling alley, 30-screen cinema and hotel, you could literally live in this place. If a 24-hour, neon-lit cathedral to consumerism is your idea of home sweet home, that is. It's trying so terribly hard to convince itself that it's actually situated in America, (as opposed to on an industrial estate off the M6), that they got none other than George Clooney to open the place. Obviously he must be a sort of Hollywood equivalent of Prince Charles. But with more hair and a cooler day job.
