The Village Inn
A word of warning to those of you who don't like needing a megaphone when talking in a pub: avoid The Village Inn. The thumping bass of overly cheesy and camp techno music may bring back memories of crappy 90's house tunes and provoke mass chicken-dancing (and not in a good way either) – but if you knew of these antics before hand would you really have steped foot in there? However, it's not so ear-splittingly loud during the day and the tank-topped bar staff will greet you with a smile and a wink, welcoming you to Hurst Street's oldest gay venues.
