The Electric Cinema
A time warp in the middle of Birmingham, proclaiming itself to be the oldest working cinema in Britain, and the only independent cinema in Birmingham. There's old-skool décor, red velvet throughout and comfy leather sofas named after golden oldies like Marilyn Monroe at the back. Go for the more expensive sofa seats and you get a menu with a phone number to text for drinks and munchies while you watch. If only you got the same service while curled up on your sofa at home.
