Old Orleans

If Old Orleans offers an 'authentic taste of the Deep South' as it claims, then we deeply fear that the beleaguered residents of New Orleans have greater problems than unconcerned Presidents and homelessness. Meatballs that taste too much like their name, overpriced beer and an oppressive last-night-on-the-Titanic-esque atmosphere once again contribute to the widely held Brummie belief that the only decent place to eat at Star City is either Shere Khan, the excellent Indian restaurant around the corner, or Pizza Hut. Jog on.
