The Prince of Wales

The Prince of Wales welcomes its diverse group of regulars: students, workers and the rest of the Gloucester Road art pack all happily drink shoulder to shoulder here. There's not much seating space, but who cares when it's friendly enough to be able to chat at the bar? A good choice of tunes, heated outside seating and excellent organic food make this an upbeat place for a pint or three. Beware the unisex toilets, though; many a confused person has been left wondering if they've wandered into the wrong cubicles after a few too many.
