The Griffin
From the outside, The Griffin resembles something you might encounter in Harry Potter – it certainly seems like a quaint old English muggle pub, but its exceptionally narrow brick façade is a tad on the quirky side. Magical happenings, you think to yourself, must be going on in this institution. Step through the doors and you may even see a few wizards; it's true to say what goes on inside is equally as flamboyant. This place is brightly coloured and fabulously camp, a very necessary feature on the Bristol gay scene.
