The One Stop Thali Café

Hidden down cobbled Picton Street, this vegetarian joint is quite probably the cosiest and most communal of all restaurants in Bristol. The place is run by a crew of hippies, who settled on this corner of the city after a lengthy festival-foody career. They still make their way to Glastonbury each June, but their main focus now is on serving wonderfully low-cost thalis on archaic metal platters. The quality of the food served here is extremely high, but it's the kitsch, collective atmosphere which makes this place so very special. Far out, man.
