The Slug and Lettuce

Where one chain fails another chances its arm, and what once was Parisa is now the delightfully named Slug. The only discernible difference on first glance is the addition of some higher watt light bulbs. Despite its blandness it does win the best boozer prize on this strip – opposition being several Wetherspoons... hmmm, good odds then –. The slightly older clientele seem to enjoy the wine, but maybe they shouldn't enjoy it too much as the trek to the toilets can become a night out in itself.
