The Slug and Lettuce

Well, slap our bare faced cheek and remind us that this is a restaurant because we haven't got a clue what it's trying to be. It's a mixture between something that could be a stylish bar, if it could be arsed, and a brewery pub found on the edge of a dual carriageway gauntlet. Jack of all trades, master of none really. Their nosh is very tasty, affordable, and with a decent choice, but like any chain gastro-joint it gives you that feeling of food déj à vu. Good for a lazy lunch but nothing to shout about.
