Down to the Wire then for Itchy, to join the sweaty, red indie-uns a-whoopin' and a-hollerin' in delight at all their favourite alternative rock tunes being pumped out by the genuises who gave them HiFi and the Fav. And you thought being happy in the presence of a Morrissey track was impossible, if not illegal. Presumably named after the width of the vacuum-packed skinny jeans that are the uniform of its backcombed and beamingly bouffant crowd, Wire couldn't be much more of a hit if gave out Noel Fielding-shaped lollipops on the door. As usual, this lot have a great night well and truly licked.
