Brudenell Social Club

Bloody 'ell, what can Itchy say about the Brudenell? Once comfortable and worn out, but increasingly a zeitgeist-grabbing centre of creativity, it reminds us of Tracy Emin's bed but without the 'ugh' factor. Ask most Leeds insiders what their best-kept city secret is and they'll tell you it's the Brudenell. Difficult to sum up, it's a one-stop social club, cum gig venue, cum arts centre, cum vaudeville music hall, cum comedy club... and if that not enough 'cum's for you then there's something wrong with you. Itchy suggests a long cold shower and a lie down.
