The Living Room

Whose living room exactly? Elton John's? At Itchy's place you're more likely to find screwed up Rizlas, something growing in the sink, tealights and an iPod on random. Here it's artfully scattered cushions, pot plants, mood lighting and a pianist tinkling away in the corner. Bitterness aside, while The Living Room is trying awfully hard to be sophisticated, it pretty much succeeds. Impeccably presented food and drink, and attentive but inobtrusive staff creates an atmosphere of old world glamour. A good destination when your parents are paying.
