Oporto
Oporto is the second largest city in Portugal and is home to FC Porto, who Jose Mourinho managed to Champions League success in 2004. Oporto the bar has something of the Mourinho swagger about it too. It's a place so confident in its own success that it oozes nonchalance. A dizzying array of spirits can turn even the hardest drinker into a stumbling, mumbling mess, (and be warned, this isn't the kind of locality where you can get away with oozing your own nonchalance in the toilets or on the pavement outside.) A great music policy and burgeoning live music scene. Make Oporto your next port of call.
