The Cuthbert Broderick
Set one foot in this place and you immediately know you're in a Wetherspoons. From the eerie lack of music to the even eerier lack of thought which has gone into the décor - legs are missing from more than one of the sofas - nothing's allowed to get in the way of the cheap booze. The Cuthbert Broderick is named after the man responsible for designing Leeds' Corn Exchange, but has none of the qualities associated with one of Leeds' most distinctive buildings. Here, you could be drinking in any Wetherspoons in any city.
