The Ashmolean Museum, Oxford

The collection in the Ashmolean museum is vast, incorporating Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Chinese artefacts, to name a few. The Museum itself is subdivided into different departments and contains collections from the Paleolithic to Victorian periods. Aside from the standard collection, there's an 'Object of the Month', giving visitors the opportunity to familiarise themselves with particular pieces from the museum's ample collections.
