Ashmolean Museum Gallery

The huge collection in the Ashmolean incorporates art from various periods and places around the world. Artworks from an Eastern influence such as India, Tibet and China consist in part of ceramics, paintings and seals – not the kind that eat fish –. The collections with a Western influence include sculptures, drawings, paintings and prints, some of which are the works of Michelangelo and Raphael. Click here to buy itchyOxford, the UK's best–selling guide to what's on in Oxford, including hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars, and shopping.
