If you're on a no–standards pulling mission, with a will to succeed and no concept of shame then you've come to the right place. George St has its own mini–scene of shamefully tacky, lame venues that come into their own after a bucket of vodka, and the Wig and Pen fits in very well. During the day we're talking a big, bog standard, barn of a pub, pretty depressing, but handy for happy hour lunches – 2 meals for £5.95, 3–7pm on weekdays –. By night, it's transformed into a pulling zone to rival the most debauched theme bar in Magaluf complete with pounding chart hits and DJ's havin' it large party tunes style from Thursday to Saturday. Pure class.
