Has just acquired some hardcore competition in the form of Oxford Thai, but we're sure its long running status as 'best Thai restaurant in Oxford' ain't over just yet. Chiang Mai remains a lovely restaurant with excellent food, exquisite service and beautiful presentation. They might lose a few students but that's a small price to pay for enduring popularity with their regulars. And this place has so many that booking is essential to guarantee a seat.
